This is another image that I have created just with a little inspiration of a glimpse of an image and arranged into this composition. 'Shamble Grove'is a detailed oil on canvas painting which depicts some tranquility, yet in a somewhat uneasy and eerie way. A contrast between the hauntingly looking woods engulfing the innocent sheep, a playing of the mind.
I chose the olive trees for this painting which are a favourite of mine, for the almost mystical image they have and for what they lend to this painting with their intertwining features and lovely colours. As for the innocent sheep, well they add interest to the scenery and look so pacific, something that I wanted to convey in the picture too. I hope you like it and thanks for having a look. Zeal
