There are many styles of marquetry in this desk containing musical instruments and flower bouquet. The desk opens to vast area for stationary with various cubby holes, drawers and slots with a sliding panel to extend the space of writing ornamented with the finest designs. All over the desk there are ornamentation of ormolu representing figures, miniatures, female busts, urns, cherubs and the wonderful plaque of cherubs on the back.
