The image of a woman's face dripping downwards to closed «bulbs» unable to express herself, unable to say what she wants or what she feels. The head is full of unexpressed circling energies like a plant bursting with life. I'm not at all a feminist, I truly think women often put themselves in these situations by themselves. Just «there» to be a girlfriend, wife, Mother, employee. We find ourselves «planted» and «rooted» and often loose a bit of ourselves on the way. She's not sad but she's not flourishing either. Beauty yes, serving yes, losing depth of who we are. Not good. This is what I tried to translate in this painting.
