As I get older I begin to appreciate my youth more. This appreciation results in nostalgia. Once more, I want to be where I was, to be with who I had been with, and experience what I was not aware I was feeling. But… Nobody can turn back time. I can go to the places I've been to before, but not only the appearance is different now, but the mood. Sometimes I even feel like the sunshine was different back then. Or maybe because I saw things in the eyes of a child. Whenever I think of childhood memories, the images are still so vivid. And I don't want to forget them. I want to bring them to life through my artworks and most specially, I want to be able to express and share my feelings in my artworks. Nipa Hut 1 is first in the series. And I really look forward to sharing more memories.
