Inspired by the amazing photographer Ulla Wolk, I found the most interesting model doing the great Marylin Monroe in many poses and couldn't help but creating the perfect illustration in my head.
So after having the permission from pretty Ulla to use these photographs, I started to make the design digitally on my mobile first until it's just like what I had in mind, then paint it with acrylics on canvas and took about two months. And as usual each of my paintings is called by its soundtrack, this one kept playing the song Alone by Celine Dion in my head over and over till it's completely finished. I really hope you feel it like I do, hear it like I do.
