This gorgeous, handcrafted pendant was made with a natural, pink rubellite tourmaline crystal, wrapped in solid Sterling silver wire with sparkling Herkimer diamonds, set in Sterling silver bead caps. The entire silver surface was oxidized naturally with egg yolk, polished, then sealed in a coat of clear lacquer to resist tarnish and preserve the aged finish of the piece over time. The pendant comes suspended on your choice of chain and measures 29x19x18mm (1.1» X 0.7» X 0.7»). This is a one-of-a-kind item and there won't ever be another like it!

Herkimer diamonds are double-terminated (pointy at both ends) quartz crystal found in exposed outcrops of dolostone in and around Herkimer County, New York and the Mohawk River Valley. While such double-terminated crystals may also be found in other parts of the world, crystals originating in New York are known for their extreme clarity.
